Task: Create an engaging social media campaign to promote Arsenal’s 2013 Asia Tour Client: Arsenal FC

Our ‘Prove Your Arsenal Passion!’ Facebook App to support Arsenal’s Asia Tour visiting Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia, was a first. It appeared in Japanese, Vietnamese and Bahasa. The campaign generated nearly 45,000 visitors, 10,000 app users and nearly 3000 competition responses. It brought together the Arsenal community in Asia, encouraged them to generate content, drove competition between the three countries, kept them updated with game information – and provided great prizes like a visit to London to see the team play. Content is hosted in the “Windows Azure” Cloud to support regional requirements – another first. Designercity have worked with Arsenal since the mid 90s.
